During the last forty to fifty years a remarkable impulse has arisen in the United States, Europe and many other places worldwide to create a more holistic and ecological society. This led to the exploration of numerous wisdom traditions, many of them originating in Asia. The purpose of the conference is to bring this exploration back to the East and to serve as a holistic bridge between China and the West with an emphasis on the culture, history, ecology and indigenous wisdom traditions of China.
